Practicing architecture exercises the two sides of my brain. I wonder, feel, and create in my head but also follow a rigorous and technical process. The whole act of thinking through the creation of a space is a pleasure and a challenge.

I enjoy learning from people who are passionate about what they do. This quality brings energy and a new perspective or knowledge to what I do.

I have 18 years of experience doing mostly residential and hospitality design including many restaurants.

I received an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and a masters degree at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. My professional experience ranges from educational facilities within the Navajo Nation to working on a multitude of project types for Semple Brown Design in Denver, CO.

Aaron Tweedie

I’ve wanted to be an architect since I was 7 years old. I love places, spaces, and people. Using creativity to solve challenges is the best feeling in the world.

I attended Texas A&M and Parsons / Newschool in NYC. Until this year I have worked for the design-builder Tres Birds Workshop in Denver, CO. While there, I was the Architect and/or Project Manager for both the design and the construction process. I have 17 years of experience doing projects ranging from restaurants to retail, $12M office renovations to new apartment buildings.

From design on trace paper, to finalizing contracts, or to supervising work on a job site, I enjoy following a project from the beginning to the end. I love the breadth of what I’ve been able to do. I’ve learned from it all and am able take that knowledge to solve new challenges.
